DUNCAN (Kish), Annie Louise Age 27, passed on January 10, 2018 at her home in Kettering, Ohio. She was born January 12, 1990 and enjoyed a happy childhood growing up with a loving circle of family and friends in Jefferson Hills, PA. Mary is survived by her only daughter Melody (Dee) Hauck and spouse Kevin of Franklin, Ohio, 2 granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter, 2 great-greatgranddaughters, and a daughter-in-law Charlotte Collett of Berea, KY, a few relatives in Broadhead and Turkey Town, KY and their children. She was born August 1927 in Germany. She immigrated to the United States in 1954 with her late husband of 66 years, Hans and daughter and became a naturalized citizen in 1962. Gudrun was an avid lover of all types of needle arts. Before moving to Ohio, she was a member of the MI Bishop Sewing Council, the White Pineari-City Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America and People to People International, Saginaw, MI Chapter. Gudrun is survived by her daughter, Heidi Kwater.

JOHNSON, Hugh S. Junior Age 82 of Lakeview, OH, passed away December 28, tr 2017. He was born on March 13, 1935 in Lena Mines, VA to the late Elmer and Eliza Johnson. In addition to his pa- rents, Junior was preceded in death by his, first wife, Sondra ISics (Walker) Johnson; children, Deborah, Charmaine and Jimmy; grandson, Rick and brother, Ralph. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Johnson; sons, Jeff and Bill Snider; grandchildren, Tyra Phelps, Tori (Terre!) She was a special ed and math teacher in the Centerville schools and tax accountant. She was a faithful disciple of Living Water Lutheran Church and a member of Alpha Delta Pi and P.E.O. sororities. She volunteered at the Dayton Humane Society and as a tutor in the Centerville schools. There will be a visitation from 3:00 to 4:00 pm and a memorial service at 4:00 pm on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Christ The King Lutheran Church located at 50 East Nutt Road, Centerville, Ohio.

Unfortunately, Retired Brig. General Thomas Dinwiddie battled Vascular Dementia which daw ultimately lead to his passing on January 10, 2018. Thomas Dinwiddie was born in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Fairview H.S. in 1947. Following his high school graduation, Mr.

Dinwiddie graduated in 1951 from Miami University in Oxford, OH with dual BA135 degrees in Marketing and Finance. Mr. Dinwiddie also completed MBA coursework at Miami University in Oxford, OH. Mr. Dinwiddie flew combat missions over North Korea until the truce was signed on July 27, 1953.

Due to one of his fellow squadron pilots being shot down on the last day of the war, Officer Thomas Dinwiddie and his squadron commander were assigned to fly what became the last jet mission of the Korean war. Officer Dinwiddie served 7 years active duty, followed by 24 years as an officer in the Airforce Reserves with over 3,500 hours of flying time. In addition to a successful military career, Retired Brig. General Thomas Dinwiddie accomplished a 31 year career in the private sector. He started his own company in 1979 under the name of D-K Associates, Inc.

The company was sold in 1986. Although, he continued to oversee the company as VP until he retired from the military in 1986. He then retired from the private sector in 1989. Retired Brig. General Dinwiddie was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, a proud fighter pilot, a highly respected Air Force officer, and a successful businessman who rose in the ranks to Brig.

General through the Air Force Reserves. Retired Brig. General Thomas Dinwiddie deeply loved his family and country. Thomas Dinwiddie is survived by his wife of 65 years Martha (Cooper) and his remaining daughter Brenda and son in law Lou. He is now with his youngest daughter, Barbara who passed away from Ovarian Cancer in 2016.

In addition, he leaves behind his four grandchildren: Megan, Catherine, Erett, and Zachary. He also leaves his two great grandchildren Cameron and Brody. He will be missed by his comrades in arm, his family and many friends. There will be a memorial service at Arlington National Cemetery. Date and time to be determined.

The family would prefer donations to the Ohio Hospice of Dayton in lieu of FISK, Florence Elizabeth Peacefully passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Charles K. Fisk, and her brothers, Nelson H. Hinman .97 and George Hinman, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Fisk-Owais and her husband, Wisam N.

Owais of Lexington, Kentucky, as well as 3 nieces, 2 nephews and their families. Florence was born January 17, 1926 in Petersburg, Virginia to George S. and Florence Branch Hinman. She graduated from Petersburg High School and then attended St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing.

She met her husband, Charles, while he was stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia and they were married at the AFB Chapel on June 3, 1944. After he returned from serving in the South Pacific they moved to St. Marys, Ohio, later establishing their home in Dayton, Ohio. Early in her marriage, Florence worked as a nurse in various settings. She later enjoyed being a Girl Scout troop leader.

She taught piano privately in her home and later taught private students at Spring Valley Academy in Centerville, Ohio. She was a longtime member of the Dayton Piano Teachers Study Club. She was active in church throughout her life. She valued the music ministry in her church, frequently accompanying soloists, playing for services; always with the goal of helping to create an atmosphere of worship. Another great joy of hers was teaching Bible classes in her church and in other settings.

Later in life, Florence helped provide regular worship services to residents of nursing homes in the Centerville area. Energy, passion and care for humankind intertwined with love for God characterized Florence's life in a way uniquely hers. She will be keenly missed. Though he came from humble beginnings, Nick led a very full and successful life and all who met him were fortunate to share in his good humor and his generosity. Nick is survived by his partner Weezie, a sister, four sons and nine grandchildren.
