Appearing on tvN’s television show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ (via SBS Star), Gong Yoo revealed he’s ‘not too good at saying warm words’ or ‘showing great care’. He added, “I’m not that brave when it comes to love.”
Now coming to his ideal type (girls, take note), Yoo said he likes ‘cat-like’ women. In a conversation with The Fact(via Koreaboo) back in 2017, the actor revealed he would prefer a ‘proactive woman who knows how to do things for herself‘ rather than someone who ‘relies on the other person’.

Gong Yoo dating history: Who all has the Hallyu star romanced?
Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun
One of the classic K-drama couples, Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun made all the buzz with their sizzling chemistry in Goblin. In 2017, a year following the release of the show, Eun revealed she had broken up with her boyfriend eight months ago. As expected, the rumour mills began churning gossip that Gong Yoo was the reason behind the split. What added fuel to the fire was when Kim Go-eun deleted all pictures from her Instagram and uploaded a single post with Gong Yoo. That too, in wedding clothes.
Several gossip columns, netizens’ banter and paparazzi glare made Yoo and Eun’s alleged relationship the centre of everyone’s attention. This is when the duo’s respective agencies finally stepped in, calling the rumours ‘baseless’ and ‘false’.
The founder of Gong Yoo’s agency,Soop Entertainment, went on record to say, “False information.. Things that never happened.. Who’s responsible for making these groundless rumours appear true.. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire… And a lot of it.”

Soon enough, the stars’ respective agencies dismissed such claims and stated that they’ll enforce legal action against those who continue to spread such malicious news. In a 2019 interview, Gong Yoo even revealed that he and Jung don’t get along privately but share a good rapport on-screen and hence worked on multiple projects together.
