Best Builds

Builds consist of different weapons, armor, perks, traits, archetypes, and skills. Crafting builds is important to stay ahead as the game progresses. Here are some of the best builds players can use.

Close Combat Build

Players will be in many close combat situations, where they will be entirely dependent on melee attacks rather than taking on gunfights. To excel in such situations, players need a good build featuring an Archetype that can tolerate a real beating. The Challenger is the best option for such a build due to its increased survivability and durability.

Although in Close Combat, players rely on their melee weapons, it’s still a good idea to have a backup. The Handler is a viable option in such situations. It is a great secondary archetype as it comes with a faithful partner – the dog. The Dog can distract and kill enemies and, in times of desperate need, it can revive its partner.

Support-Healer Build

When playing with teammates, there will be a lot of situations where someone will need to provide a helping hand. This is why having a support build is really important in co-op runs. Players can use the Medic archetype as it provides great healing for both the players and their teammates.

On the other hand, the Alchemist can be used as a secondary archetype to increase the defense of teammates. It makes the team resistant when times get tough, increasing their chances of survival.

Regenerator Build

The Regenerator Build can withstand all sorts of heavy damage from threatening enemies while summoning minions to do the player’s bidding in combat. This build blends the healing and supporting perks of the Medic with the damage inflicted by ruthless minions commanded by the Summoner. The Summoner can command diverse minion types, each with its own unique abilities. This pairing makes the Regenerator Build safe, effective, and perfect for new players who want to play the game solo.

Loaded Sharpshooter Build

Remnant 2: Best Builds (4)

This build is a unique combo of two DPS-oriented Archetypes, namely Hunter and Gunslinger. Both of these archetypes are famous for their rapid-fire damage output that focuses on DPS. When paired together, they form a powerful build perfect for players who like fast and aggressive play. The Loaded Sharpshooter build is designed to deal a significant amount of damage and gives players a wide variety of lethal weapons to choose from.

Figuring out which Class to start with in Remnant II is a big decision and one that many players are having trouble deciding on.

Summon and Chill Build

Sometimes players need a break from doing all the work. By pairing the Summoner and the Engineer archetypes, players can create a powerful build that focuses on high DPS/burst summons to support them on the battlefield. The Engineer is a great archetype as it helps a player carry and deploy heavy weaponry, including turrets. It boosts a player’s skill damage while providing great support to the Summoner’s minions.

Thanks to three extra targets on the field, a player’s survivability massively increases even during solo runs. This build helps players sit back and relax while leaving everything to their summoned minions and turrets.

Weapon Mod Build

The Archon archetype has a strong focus on Weapon Mods and is perfect for players who want to blow up enemies with powerful, explosive mods. The Archon excels at generating mod power quickly and provides endless support to players. To support the Weapon Mod build, players can choose between different secondary archetypes based on the type of advantages they’re looking for. Surprisingly, the Summoner pairs extremely well with the Archon. The Summoner archetype comes with a unique perk, called Dominator, which can boost Mod and Skill damage by 35%.

Players can choose any normal weapon from the game’s diverse collection and pick out the best mods for it to effectively deal more damage. They should aim for something that works against large groups of enemies but has low mod requirements so that players can reuse it quickly.

Plague Harbinger Build

Remnant 2: Best Builds (7)

With the release of The Awakened King DLC, a new DPS archetype has been added to Remnant 2 called the Ritualist. The Plague Harbinger build combines the special abilities of the Ritualist and the Archon archetypes. It focuses on hitting enemies right where it hurts and relies on Status effects from the Ritualist. Additionally, the Archon’s mod capabilities and damage-inflicting skills make this a perfect build for clearing enemy waves efficiently and taking down world bosses.
